Netball World Youth Cup

nwyc17-logoThe Netball World Youth Cup is the pinnacle of netball competition for emerging players who are under 21 years of age and the INF has held an U21 international competition every four years since 1988.

In 2017 the event will be held in Gaborone, Botswana – the first time the INF has held an international event on the African Continent.

About the NWYC2017

  • 1st World Netball Youth Cup based on regional qualification criteria

  • 1st International Netball Federation (INF) World Competition in Africa

  • 20 countries have qualified across the  5 INF regions

  • 9 days of Netball

  • 70 games in total

  • 2 venues in Gaborone

  • 240 athletes, 100 team officials

  • A Coaching Seminar will take place during the Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana. The Coaching Sessions will be led by international experts from the INF Coaching Advisory Panel (CAP). For more information visit out Coaching Seminar Page.
