Upcoming events this month

October is another busy month of international netball, with some of the most anticipated events of the year taking place.

Netball Europe Open – October 5-8

Cardiff hosts the 2017 Netball Europe Open, that will feature Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Fiji. This will be the first time the Fiji Pearls will have played in Wales. With four of the five teams in the INF World Rankings top 10, and the entire event to be live streamed for free on QTV, this will be a treat for international netball fans.

Constellation Cup – October 5-8-14

World number 1 Australia, and world number 2 New Zealand, will compete in the Constellation Cup in a four match series. The first match on the 5th will take place in Auckland, while the second match on the 8th will commence in Christchurch. The final game will take place on the 14th in Sydney. Every time these sides meet it is nothing short of spectacular and it happens 3 times this month! (4 times if you count Fast5 NWS).

Fast5 Netball World Series – October 28-29

Often referred to as ‘one of the most exciting versions of the game’, the Fast5 Netball World Series returns later this month in Melbourne, Australia. The weekend long event features the top 6 teams in the world in Australia, New Zealand, England, Jamaica, South Africa and Malawi. The squads that have been announced so far can be found here. This fast paced, all action variation of the sport is a must see event and it is only a few weeks away!
