Malaysia Win Gold On Home Soil

A capacity crowd at the Juara Stadium in Kuala Lumpur saw hosts Malaysia take gold for the first time in 16 years at the South East Asian Games which took place between the 14th and 20th of August 2017.

Malaysia dethroned reigning champions and strong favorites Singapore 65-41 in the final that had the country’s Prime Minister in attendance along with over 500 fans outside the arena who displayed their support despite not having tickets.
