Women’s Sport Week 2017 – England Roses announce squad for 2017/18

England Netball have confirmed their Roses squad selection for the 2017/18 season, with 24 players awarded full-time contracts and 11 more added to the Futures programme.

The 2017/18 season will include two editions of the Quad Series, contested between the Roses, Australia Diamonds, New Zealand and South Africa, the 2017 Fast5 tournament, a home International Series later this year and the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

The Futures programme is designed for the next generation of Roses players to continue to develop their skills alongside the Roses programme.

The squad announcement comes on the first day of Women’s Sports Week 2017.

England Roses:

Ama Agbeze, Summer Artman, Sara Bayman, Eleanor Cardwell, Ella Clark, Jade Clarke, Beth Cobden, Kadeen Corbin, Sasha Corbin, George Fisher, Stacey Francis, Jodie Gibson, Serena Guthrie, Natalie Haythornthwaite, Joanne Harten, Helen Housby, Hannah Joseph, Leah Kennedy, Gabby Marshall, Laura Malcolm, Geva Mentor, Chelsea Pitman, Natalie Panagarry, Razia Quashie.

England Futures:

Rebekah Airey, Halimat Adio, Amy Carter, Brittany Coleman, Amy Clinton, Iona Darroch, Sophie Drakeford-Lewis, Zara Everitt, Josie Huckle, Vicki Oyesola, Francesca Williams.
