The Netball World Youth Cup launch a commemorative stamp

BotswanaPost officially released a “Stamp Issue” to commemorate the Netball World Youth Cup (NWYC) 2017 to be hosted by Botswana in July.

A press release from BotswanaPost says NWYC 2017 will go a long way in creating a legacy for Botswana and Africa.  Africa will be hosting the NWYC games for the first time since its inception in 1988.

BotswanaPost says they are proud to create a legacy that will speak for the country in many years to come, given that it will forever remain etched in the history books of the NWYC and the International Netball Federation that Botswana marked the NWYC 2017 Games with a distinctive stamp.

The release Further says the NWYC 2017 stamp issue is being released to celebrate the marking of a historic milestone and to be Botswana’s ambassador to the entire world.

The NWYC2017 Commemorative Stamp in collaboration with Botswana Post was launched in Masunga.

Pictured here is Botswana Netball Association and Africa Netball President Ms Tebogo LebotseSebego and she had this to say.

“The dream to have a Stamp to celebrate the first International Netball Federation World Cup event in Africa is now a reality. This is a great legacy outcome for Botswana Netball.

We are also extremely excited that this comes at a time when Botswana is the Co-Chair of the IWG.

Decades from now, future generations will still have a tangible piece of when BWgovernment hosted the Netball World”
