This week, we’re celebrating all things Netball World Youth Cup. The 2017 tournament is fast-approaching, and we’ve also announced the hosts for the NWYC2021 – read on to find out who they are.
Netball World Youth Cup 2017
Last week, we marked 150 days until the NWYC2017. The event in Gaborone, Botswana, will bring together the top U21 teams from across the world, to battle it out for the new trophy.

Netball World Youth Cup 2021
The INF is delighted to announce Fiji as the hosts of NWYC2021. Congratulations to Fiji, who will host the tournament at the Vodafone Arena in Suva. Commenting on the news, INF President, the Hon. Molly Rhone, OJ, CD, said: “We considered two excellent applications from Netball Fiji and Netball Samoa. It was a tough decision but Fiji’s bid was particularly strong, demonstrating a good state of readiness and real potential as host nation for our flagship youth event.”
International
New Zealand showed their dominance in their two matches against Wales in Cardiff last week. Four players vying for places in their national teams for this year’s World Youth Cup were part of this series – Kelly Jury and Maia Wilson for New Zealand, and Fern Davies and Chloe James for Wales. We’ll be watching their progress!
