INF changes for International Umpiring

The INF is pleased to announce those appointed to a new role in the INF, the Regional Officiating Coordinator (ROC), and the newly appointed IUA Testing Panel (ITP).

Each INF region now has a Regional Officiating Coordinator (ROC), who will support the INF’s International Umpiring Manager to lead International Officiating. The INF ROCs will be working closely with the INF Members and Regions to facilitate the pathway to International Umpiring.

The panel of international testers has also been newly appointed. This panel is known as the IUA Testing Panel (ITP) and has a structure which is in place, for the testing of umpires for the International Umpires’ Award (IUA) and the coaching of elite umpires. ITP Cadets, with the support of the ITPs, will also be involved in identifying and training elite umpires and this role provides a succession process and pool of candidates for future ITP members.
