Netball Europe is delighted to announce that every match from this month’s U-17 Championships will be livestreamed through the Netball Europe YouTube Channel.
All twelve matches livestreamed and free-to-air on Netball Europe TV
The Championships, which take place at the in Gibraltar between March 4th and 6th, features England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales in the performance section and Gibraltar, Malta, Republic of Ireland, and Switzerland in the challenge section of the tournament.
Gibraltar-based media company GibMedia will produce live HD coverage of each match, which has been made possible by the generous funding of the Gibraltar government.
Following on from the recent successful launch of the Netball Europe YouTube Channel in 2015, the free-to-air coverage of all twelve matches will once again be managed and curated by Netball Europe’s digital partners QTV Sports, who also assist the International Netball Federation and Netball Scotland with their digital platforms.
Each match will be available OnDemand within two hours of its completion along with athlete profiles and post-match interviews throughout the tournament.
The channel offers netball fans free-to-air livestreaming of major Netball Europe competitions and the opportunity to catch up with previous events, including last year’s Netball Europe Open Championships and U-21 Championships. Every match from each of those events is available OnDemand and free of charge.
Netball Europe Chairman Lyn Carpenter said: “It’s a pleasure to return here to Gibraltar for the U17 Championships after a seven year gap. The region has seen many athletes at its U17 event take to the international stage for the first time and then go on to represent their countries at senior level. We are delighted that Gibraltar have been successful in securing funding to live stream the competition and by subscribing for free to the Netball Europe TV fans will be able to watch every match live.”
