Netball welcomes new participants across the regions

Netball has a strong tradition of warm welcomes for new participants. In this newsletter, find how one of the world’s most populous nations is being introduced to netball, and what has got women smiling across Scotland.

In just four weeks, the USA will be welcoming netballers from around the world, and introducing the sport to many Americans for the first time. Miami is the host city for the World University Netball Championship, and the team from the USA (pictured) are keen to promote netball to the locals.

Getting children in Geneva playing netball relies on being able to explain the joys of the sport in their language – French. This summer holidays, the youngsters are being encouraged to try netball with promises of a fast and exciting team sport.
