Americas Regional Umpires’ and Coaching Workshop

Two jam packed days of training for practicing umpires and coaches from the Americas region took place in Barbados over 22nd and 23rd August 2018, planned and delivered by the Americas Netball World Cup Qualifiers local organising committee, which included the INF Regional Officiating Coordinator (ROC).

INF President, Hon Molly Rhone OJ CD, opened proceedings and the workshop was led by the INF Rules Advisory Panel (RAP) Chair, members of the INF International Umpires’ Award Testing Panel (ITP) and members of the INF Coaching Advisory Panel (RAP). A variety of topics where covered including netball rules, advanced skills and drills including combined umpire and coach sessions.

84 participants attended the workshop and benefited from the latest insights in the application of rules and coaching from the international panels.
