Preview: Netball World Cup 2019 Regional Qualifier – Oceania

The second Netball World Cup 2019 Regional Qualifier is to take place this week with five teams battling it out for the two available positions for next year’s event in Liverpool.

Auckland will host Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Samoa and the Cook Islands who will all play each other in a round robin style tournament where the top two will advance to the World Cup.

Fiji and Samoa were both at the Netball World Cup 2015 which took place in Sydney. The Cook Islands last appeared at a Netball World Cup (then Netball World Championships) in 2007.

The matches get underway on Tuesday 17th April and will conclude on Saturday 21st April.
